THEY HAVE TRAVELED AROUND THE WORLD PLAYING AND PROMOTING SHUFFLEBOARD, BUT THEIR HOME IS RIGHT HERE IN N FORT MYERS. FROM JEWETT CITY, CONN. THE 2 ARE AMONG THE FRIENDLIEST AND WELCOMING PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET.
THEY SERVED ON THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SHUFFLEBOARD ASSOCIATION BOARDS FOR OVER 10 YEARS INCLUDING JOE’S TERM AS PRESIDENT WHERE HE CREATED THE EAST-WEST GOODWILL GAMES THAT ARE ALREADY A POPULAR ANNUAL EVENT. CECILE HAS ALWAYS BEEN BY HIS SIDE SERVING AS SECRETARY ON THOSE SAME BOARDS. IN ADDITION CECILE MESSIER IS A NATIONAL CHAMPION, HAS PLAYED IN THE STATE MASTERS AND IS A MEMBER OF THE FLORIDA SHUFFLEBOARD HALL OF FAME. ON THE COURTS SHE IS STILL A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH –AND A GOOD KISSER!!.
