It has been a tradition of The Shuffler to keep our readers informed with regard to the history of the HOF itself, as well as information pertinent to each inductee, including the supporting remarks of the inductor, and where possible, the reply of the inductee. We link this information to a series of pictures and stories, all intended to enhance the significance of the HOF, of the Banquet, and of course add to the memories for all concerned.
Although this year is not a special anniversary for the HOF, it is the 100th Anniversary of Shuffleboard in Florida, and accordingly, it is SPECIAL and we will treat it accordingly. We need your co-operation to make this happen.
At this time I would like to thank Earl Ball who in 2005 suggested this approach to celebrating the Hall of Fame. Earl then took on the task of getting inductees to get their stories to The Shuffler, an example of his dedication and organizational skills.
With this article we launch the 2013 FSA Hall of Fame Coverage. We now give you a link to a part of our beginning, the beginning of the traditions with respect to the presentation of the Medals; we are going to come back to this tradition later. As most of you know, the Medals, this year, will again be presented at the Banquet, albeit, not at this location: 01 Final MEDAL PRESENTATIONS HERE LED TO OUR PRESENT HOF BANQUET up
