100th-anniversary-logo-800-dpi2.jpgMVP PININ 1960 THE STATE HALL OF FAME WAS ORGANIZED AND THEY HAD TO SELECT THE FIRST HONOREES FROM A 32 YEAR PERIOD, 1928-60.

ONLY 5 PEOPLE WERE SELECTED AND AMONG THIS HISTORIC GROUP WAS GROVER FLINT FROM THE LAKELAND CLUB.   GROVER WAS NOTED FAR MORE FOR HIS ADMINISTRATIVE SUCCESSES THAN FOR HIS PLAYING. HE WAS AN FSA PRESIDENT IN THE EARLY 195OS AND SERVED ON THE NATIONAL SHUFFLEBOARD ASSOCIATION BOARD FOR YEARS.
LET US HONOR THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THIS GENTLEMEN FROM THE PAST, GROVER FLINT.
