I sincerely want to thank the Coldwater Club and President George O’Reilly for hosting the CNSA Tournament that was held on May 21st – May 23rd 2013. We sure were spoiled with the good soup, sandwiches and pie that the Coldwater Club members made for us. For many of us that took our campers we appreciate the opportunity to camp there with the grass cut – thank you.
The AGM was attended with a large number of members. I appreciate the support of our members in making decisions for the game of shuffleboard that we all love to play. I thank the CNSA board, directors and province reps for their support and sending their reports.
Thanks to Barb Pipher for organizing the ticket sales for the delicious food that was prepared by Larry for the banquet.
Thank you to Lorraine Pollock for being the Tournament Director and always displaying her fairness and dedication to shuffleboard.
Having Peggy House and Glen Peltier, our special guests, attend this CNSA event makes us appreciate two great “Canadian People” who have given so much over the years to shuffleboard.
I was honoured to present Gary Pipher with his Past President HOF Certificate. He has been a huge support to me. I thank Gary for his leadership with the upcoming IP Tournament at Dieppe NB in July and the ISA Tournament that will be held at St Petes in Oct.
Thanks to Stan McCormack for his support and dedication to shuffleboard. Your pictures and stories will give us all memories to last a life time.
Each shuffleboard tournament we attend we are reminded of the many friendships that we have made.
“We do not stop playing shuffleboard because we are old!! We grow old because we stop playing shuffleboard!!”
Myrna Bilton, CNSA President (2013 05 28)
