At this time of the year, nature paints our forests in an attempt to temporarily restrain our desire to make the journey to FL!! (See the Slide Show) http://photopeach.com/album/660i8l During this period of Colour, the Ski Hill operates the chair lift to obtain a complete view. As colourful as our surroundings are, the call to FL wins out every year. The friendship associated with Shuffleboard trumps colour, as beautiful as it is. For the record, fall is a most desirable time of year in this part of ON. Calabogie is 1 hour north-west of the nation’s capital, Ottawa, ON.
Stan and Lois will leave Calabogie for FL on Tuesday, October 1st. We are a bit ahead of schedule due to the 32nd ISA World Championship in St Petersburg. We are looking forward to shuffling in the State Tournament at Avon Park (October 7th) with the Browns, Ruth and Larry. Hope to see you there!! Zephyrhills has a State Tournament the same day.
