Before leaving the 100th Anniversary Celebration, I could not help but display this photo by David Martin, taken of the Awards Banquet of the 32nd ISA Tournament in St Petersburg, FL.  Pic is taken from the stage of the St Petersburg Coliseum, looking out over the audience of 164 Participants and their guests from  13 different nations.   Truly this Banquet, this Ceremony, was a fitting end to a wonderful week of Shuffleboard activities.  This week saw Shuffleboard exposed to the media as no other time in our history.  From Television to Newspapers and yes to Bloggers; Shuffleboard was “front page news”!!  The entire week was a fitting climax to the 32nd International Championship, combined with the windup of the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Shuffleboard in the State of Florida.

Shown on the left is Women’s World Champion Glenna Earle with ISA President Zellner, and Men’s World Champion Ken Offenther with Jim Allen, owner of Allen R. Shuffleboard and presenter of the Golden Cue, emblematic of World Championship!!
