Our Final Story for the German Portion of the 2008 Most Successful Inaugural.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI have been putting off writing this last chapter, this last evening of our INAUGURAL, because like most of you, I do not want it to end!!

Our Friday evening began with a social hour and banquet at the very fine facility of the Langensebold Soccer Club. There was a good variety of food tastefully presented. Following dinner the German dance group, IG Bachtanz, performed to the great delight of all.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANext item on the agenda was the acknowledgement by Jim and Beth to all who contributed to the success of The Inaugural.   To wind up the evening in fine fashion, most took to the dance floor in celebration of the past week.

What a great adventure we have had; new experiences; great food albeitLes and Carol Phillips too much too often >> Heck, we have to complain about something! Lol We will remember the organizational skills of Les and Carol, the driving skills of Peter our driver and his most capable assistant, Margaret. We will always remember the kindness and generosity of our hosts, the German Shufflers. And finally we will remember our fellow shufflers from Brazil, from Canada and from America.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe very last accolade goes to Jim and Beth Allen who with diligence, grace and yes, charm, turned a set of plans into a joyous journey that all participants will long remember. We thank you both; you were the perfect host and hostess.
