There Will Be A Celebration to Honour Joan and to Commemorate this Significant Achievment !!

Joan had many competent partners during her Pro Shuffleboard Career.  She thanks each and everyone, male and female.  I would like to post a pic of each but that is not possible.  Accordingly I will limit the posting to Arlene Guerrini, her partner when together, the 1,000th point became reality.  (See the tag above; Click once)

Arlene posted this message on the Blog:  Congratulations Joan on reaching your well deserved 1,000 FSA Points! It has been a great honor to play with you, and a greater honor to be the one that helped you reach your final goal.

I must say the pressure was on, a tear was close to fall, but Joan persevered & played with a strong will to win. Joan had the winning block on her end and she even had to throw a block away,
to begin her “LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT CELEBRATION”!

Thank you Joan for making me part of your FSA Shuffleboard History, an honor for me!  Arlene

And now to the details of the Celebration.  It will take place in Betmar, in the Clubhouse next to the Betmar Shuffleboard Courts.  It is on Saturday, December 13th, form 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND, you may: Phone Roxanne Duguay at 813-715-7505 beginning Sunday, November 16th.  Joan will also  be putting an invitation at several clubhouses along with a sign-up sheet.  You must indicate your attention to attend by December 3rd, 2014.  All shufflers are welcome.  The invitation says light refreshments, but it will be sit down.

See You at the Shuffleboard Celebration of a LIFETIME!!
