Glenn Monroe (2)The Polk Senior Games Shuffleboard competition consists of three separate events.

On Monday, Feb 29th, we will play men’s singles.  Everyone is grouped into 5-year divisions based upon their age with the youngest division being 50 to 54 years old.  Each group will play single elimination rounds of 12-frame non-walking singles, 6 frames on each color, with a match consisting of a single game.  The number of rounds is dependent upon the number of players in the group.  Everyone will play, even if they are the only members of their group.  The top three finishers in each group will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.  The top 5 finishers in each group will be eligible to compete in the Florida State Games at the end of the year.

Tuesday, March 1st, is ladies singles with the format being identical to the men’s singles.
