AMATEURS!! Kick Start Your Shuffleboard New Year (2016) by going to Winter Haven!!! Do your planning NOW!! Find a partner BEFORE the holiday begins!!
STATE SPONSORED* Tournament A11 WILL BE HOSTED BY THE WINTER HAVEN CLUB OF THE CENTRAL DISTRICT on 2016 01 04 and 05. The Winter Haven Event will be Any Doubles and is of course open to any Amateur in the State of Florida. A picture of the Winning Team will appear in the Preview next season. *”State Sponsored” includes $300.00 from the State to be added to any existing prize money. I have been advised that “Registration money” will be added to the $300.00!! Additionally, the Club receives $100.00 from the State to help with their expenses. That makes for great prize money shufflers!!!
This event was not properly advertised in the PREVIEW nor on the FSA Website!! Accordingly, it is essential that you DO YOUR PART TO GET THE WORD OUT TO ALL AMATEURS!!
The address of the Winter Haven Club is 250 South Lake Silver Drive NW, Winter Haven FL 33880. Winter Haven has 24 Lighted Courts and is ALSO the home of the Central District Hall of Fame. BRING YOUR LUNCH.

Stan, can I compete in this event ? As you know I have been only involved in the political side of shuffleboard since I entered years ago and have never competed in any official tournament outside of the ISA world championships and inaugurals. I have NO points and should be classified as an amateur to get started. I’ll ask Glenn Monroe as well.
