ONE SHOT 58 Point Adjustment!!! Sent along by Ron Nurnberger With THANKS!! Sent Along Your “Best Shot”!

100 C. Pr. Ron NurnbergerAt the SWC District tournament at Bradenton Thursday (February 18), I was involved in a 58 point shot! I was at the foot with fellow Pro Bob Comfort.  At the head was Gilles Emard (my partner) and Larry Fowler (Bob’s partner) both fine amateur players. (Click on pic of Ron to expand)

As Lary Faris would say, “it was a nice sunny Florida day, a slight wind, the disc’s were running superbly and it was a ‘fair’ court favoring neither color.”

After 7 shots, Gilles playing ‘yellow,’ had 2 disc’s in the 8, one in the 7 and one ‘black’ disc in the kitchen! That is 33 points!

Again, as Lary Faris would say, “What shot should Larry Fowler select?”  Larry selected to ‘slam’ all the disc’s off that he could and hope for the best.  Larry lined up his ‘hammer’ and fired!

After the ‘smoke’ cleared,  Only 3 disc’s remained on the court.  One ‘black’ 8, one ’black’ 7 and one ‘yellow’ in the kitchen! 25 points!

Thus, a 58 point play!

Ron Nurnberger, SWCD President.

Stan, I`ll never forget when we were both amateurs playing in a tournament in St Cloud. It was a Pro/Am, we were playing against each other, my Pro was Nicole Archimbault (sp), I forget who your partner was, but you did the same thing to me. It wasn`t quite 58 points, but it was close to 50.
