Arthur F. Jehnsen Sr., 77, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on June 11, 2016. He was born the son of William and Emma (Simcox) Jehnsen on June 29, 1938 in Rodney, Michigan. He resided in Gladwin County for most of his life, where he was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Beaverton, Michigan. Arthur worked as a supervisor at Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan for 32 years before retiring in 1994. Left to cherish his memory are his five children: Melissa (Tom) Pohlman of Beaverton, Roland Jehnsen of Beaverton, LeAnn Jehnsen of Beaverton, Arthur “Bub” Jehnsen Jr. of Beaverton, and Jody (Kerry) Jehnsen of Gladwin. He was blessed with six grandchildren: Corey Pohlman, Casey Pohlman, Greg Jehnsen, Brendon Jehnsen, Sean Jehnsen and Bryce Jehnsen and two great grandchildren: Liam Pohlman and Rhyan Jehnsen. He is also survived by his sister Phyllis Beall of Midland, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and the mother of his children: Peggy (Pat) Dillon. He is preceded in death by two infant children: Lucinda and Patrick; one grandchild: Chad Pohlman; his parents; three brothers: Ernest, William and Raymond; and two sisters: Donna McCamm, Dora Sonicksen. Services will be conducted by Pastor William Raymor on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of the Brethren in Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, Michigan from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider the Beaverton Little League BYRP and the Church of the Brethren. Arrangements are in the care of Hall Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin, Michigan.
