Jim Corbeil, 1st Vice President: The London Shuffleboard Club is up and running. They have a new president this year, Marion Reynen. They shuffle in London at the Silverwoods Arena every Tuesday from 12:30 to 4:00 pm. There are a number of new members this year. We have a larger club than last year. They are going to hold 1 mingle single this year on June 7th, 2016. St. Mary’s club is running as well. They shuffle three times a week, Mondays at 1 pm, Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm. They play 3 games and the 4th if anyone wishes. They are going to hold the Big Apple Tournament again this year September 19th. Ancaster Club is going well. John Mickle said it actually runs year round. That should be good for shufflers in that area. Woodstock We don’t have a club here. There seems to be a lot of interest in starting a club. The main problem is finding a location that we can afford. Hopefully, when the new complex is completed shuffleboard will be included. All in all Shuffleboard is looking good in Central Ontario.
