SALTWATER CLUB CONTINUES TO GROW!!

With the very generous assistance from District 15 Capital Fund and Lower
Sackville Councillor, Mr. Steve Craig, the Saltwater Shuffleboard Club is
expanding once more.
We have been pushing at the limits for a couple of years and this has
discouraged a few of the new contacts.
Now we can accommodate many more happy seniors. We have acquired 3 gently
used courts (complete with cues and discs) from a Seniors Club in NB. What a
find!  We now have11 Courts!!
Our members look forward to welcoming new members.We all thank Mr. Craig for his support. (See pic of Councillor Craig above.)

Mingles Singles Grand Prize Winner Isabel Melanson.

Also at the Saltwater club we had our 1st Singles/Mingles tournament of the
season July 12th and one of our more senior members was the grand prize
winner, Isabel Melanson.
Doug Stockman was in #2 position, #3 – Pat Tracey, #4. -Vera Vyse, all who
won 5 games of 6.
We congratulate all those winners  (we paid 12 places) for their great
showing.
Another tournament will be held in August.
