“Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”.

On behalf of the International Shuffleboard Association, I want to sincerely thank the St Cloud Shuffleboard Club for hosting the 35th World Shuffleboard Championship. They have spent countless hours of decision making and work over the last two years.

Special thanks to St Cloud Shuffleboard Club president Tom Gionet and his committee for planning this outstanding world class event. The club members and volunteers did an excellent job of making us feel at home all week with their help, food and warm hospitality. We appreciate and thank Jim and Beth Allen for their work and support. Thanks to Glenn Monroe our tournament director, ISA Past President Michael Zellner, Tom Gionet Jr and Muriel Burnett our photographers. All these people have shown true commitment and dedication to promote shuffleboard.

Thank you to the Cities of Kissimmee and St Cloud for their generous support that they have shown toward this great game of shuffleboard.

Congratulations to Bernar Borges, Don Breau and Sebastian Runge for their induction into the ISA Hall of Fame. These three people are very deserving of this prestigious award.

Congratulations to First place winners – USA East Women and USA East Men. To all the people who received medals, pins and gifts, I congratulate you.

It was wonderful to have 32 first time competitors and 13 countries participate in this ISA Tournament.

Congratulations to all the competitors who took part in this memorable event. We are all winners as the ISA tournaments are a wonderful way of making friends from around the world. These friendships and memories will last a lifetime.

Our hearts are full of love and gratitude for giving us the opportunity to take part in the 35th ISA World Championship at St Cloud, Florida, USA.

Until we meet again. Myrna Bilton,  ISA President
