The Clermont Shuffleboard Club has begun its inter-city competition hosting Southern Palms and Mid Florida Lakes and winning both matches.
The Club invites anyone living in the area, snowbirds included, to come to Kehlor Park and give this inexpensive great sport a try. Just come to Kehlor Park on the corner of 5th street and Minneola Ave. For those with GPS it is 466 W, Minneola Ave, Clermont.
Open Shuffleboard is played every Tuesday, Friday at 1:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Everyone that comes gets to play. Basic instruction is provided for everyone and all the equipment to play the game is provided and there is no additional cost to try the game out. If you interested in playing you will be able to practice and play any time it fits your schedule, day or evening.
We invite younger people to join us and if you can’t come, encourage your parents and grandparents to join us for some exercise and socialization, which is as big part as the exercise. We have people that play with wheel chairs and walkers.
