President Tom Clayton of Avon Park has announced a “Day of Remembrance” for Ralph Day at 11:00, Saturday, Feb 25th.

Main St., Avon Park, FL 33825.  We invite and welcome all of our friends and members to attend.  If you wish, please bring a food to share.

William Ralph Day, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 18, 1929 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late William H. and Nell M. (Roberts) Day. William spent his career in the banking industry and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, MO. He moved to Avon Park in 1992 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Avon Park. He was president of the Avon Park Shuffleboard Club and enjoyed gardening, puzzles and board games. He loved his family dearly and spending time with them was the joy of his life. Survivors include his children: Denise Foerg (Mick), Cindy Schuette (Alan), Cliff Lewis (Joan); one sister: Donna Ward; three grandchildren: Carrie, Kyle and Brandon and five great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his wife: Lela M. Day and brother: James Day. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Avon Park Senior Center, 114 E. Main St., Avon Park, FL 33825
