I mentioned in last week’s column that on March 12 at 2 a.m. you change your clocks ahead one hour as we go to spring, summer time. What I forgot to mention is that all fire alarms and CO alarms batteries should be checked and probably replaced. Let’s be on the safe side. Do it!
MacTier Figure Skating Carnival on March 3 was well attended and the skaters did not disappoint despite very cold temperatures. Congratulations on another great year. MacTier Catholic Women’s League held a successful Shrove Tuesday of pancakes, sausages and other goodies recently. A good crowd was in attendance at the church hall. They thank all who attended.
