Sue McLaughlin and Allen Dronsfield Inducted into the ND Hall of Fame. Player Awards.

Sue McLaughlin started shuffling in 2007.  In 2008-2009 she won Ladies Amateur National Singles.  2014 was her second state masters; she played in her first Masters in 2012.  She also played in the state masters in 2016. She has 166 lifetime points.
Sue has been married to her husband Gary for 27 years. He is her biggest supporter!!
She lives in and plays for Hawthorne in Leesburg.

Allen Dronsfield:  Allen, is someone who has excelled in a big way, and  very quickly.  One must play 6 years in the Northern District (ND) as a basic requirement to be considered for their HOF; said requirement held up Allen’s recognition with regard to induction into the Northern District HOF.    Allen is a player who has accomplished  so many things in such a short time.  He has skills that are now being recognized.

CONGRATULATIONS Sue and Allen From all FSA Shufflers.  Posted by Stan 2017 03 24.

  1. al dronsfield says:

Thanks Stan, we do appreciate this. Al

  2. Very nice to see the Northern District recognized in your blog. AND you are correct in saying that Sue and Al are GREAT players. Al will be reducing the number of Northern District tournaments next season, to concentrate on reaching his next goal of being inducted into the Florida State Hall of Fame. There’s no doubt that he will accomplish this goal.

On a different note, thanks go out to Coronado/Mainland Shuffleboard Club and Jack Wooten for a great Master’s Tournament .

  3. Nancy Taylor Sclafani says:

Congratulations to both of you on your achievements.

  4. Virginia Chandler says:

Congratulations to both of you great players !
