The Brazilian Shuffleboard Association is so proud of our shining star Fatima Alves.

Michael Zellner Speaks: Fatima Alves will be competing tomorrow for the position of Top Woman player in the World. She leads Group E and is one of the Top 4 Female competitors of this tournament. Fatima has been shuffling for 15 years and in addition to competing in 5 ISA World Championships she has won many national tournaments here in Brazil. Fatima is a true fighter and a force to be reckoned with on any shuffleboard court. Our hearts, prayers and best wishes go out to her. The ABS and residents of  Rio de Janeiro and Brazil  will all be with Fatima as she steps up to her  court in the morning.
