Those who believe in the Mission Statement of the ISA; those who acknowledge the true purpose of these events, were not disappointed this past week.
To a person I believe that those that participated this week would all agree that shuffleboard in Brazil is better off after this event. And in the end, is that not our purpose?
With awesome media from newspapers to fantastic TV coverage, thousands of people in Niteroi are aware of this “new” sport. People in restaurants learned too, as did local councilmen.
For the most part those that participated kept their eye on the goal, and in doing so the world is a better place this morning. One big “Obrigado” to the Brazilian Shuffleboard Association for all of their efforts to advance this sport we love so much.
