Al Dronsfield Speaks: We held a Northern District tournament yesterday, Oct 12th, and will continue to-day. Thanks to Jan’s help, cutting ribbons and helping me putting them together with the flag pins, we manage to put well over a hundred of them together.
I took many of the bow’s to the Tavares tournament and with Doris Hanke’s help we managed to accumulate $134.00 in donations to go along with the $105.00 donated at the state tournament on Monday at Zephyrhills. So far we have generated $239.00 with a little over a half a month to go.
I’ll have another basket of bows on Monday at Clearwater.
I am looking for suggestions as to how to best describe who we are as shuffleboard players and donator’s.
My thought at this time would be something along the lines of, (A Fellowship of Florida Shuffleboard Players) I realize we can’t use the FSA as a title but all suggestions will be considered.
Thanks to all of you for your donation’s as it has been said many times, The life you may be saving might be your own..
