JOHN HOUGHTALING/WALT SHINE WIN SHUFFLEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIP
John Houghtaling, Betmar-ZSC, and Walt Shine, Betmar, won the Central District Pro Draw Tournament sponsored by Browne Automotive on Friday, November 10th. They had to fight their way through the 1st match going three games but had smooth sailing from that point to the semi-finals which was another tight match that they scratched out.

They won the Championship match in two straight games. Houghtaling has become one of the area’s top Pro’s over the last couple of years but Shine has struggled. He has long been a top Pro but various physical ailments and personal family tragedies have held him back; maybe he’s back on track now.
