biltons-xmas-picChristmas Memories:   We have fond memories of our Christmas traditions. We both were raised in a small rural community where everyone knew everyone.                                        

Christmas celebrations were with family and friends at school concerts and at church.  Christmas Eve service with the candles is a lasting memory. 

Both our Dads & Moms families were from large families so there were always lots of people around.  If someone showed up unexpected we set another plate on the table. There was no question of having enough food!! Lots of turkey, dressing, gravy, turnip, Grandma’s homemade bread, pies, Christmas pudding/sauce and Christmas cake.  This meal would be served at noon. The music would then take over with sing songs and dancing. After the music, us cousins played games with our grandparents, uncles and aunts. The laughter was contagious.
