DISTRICT OPEN SPRING MEETING SUCCESSFUL
The Southwest Coast District Board thanks all who came to observe and give opinions on the issues to be decided March 17 at the Florida State Meeting. Unhappily 29 District Presidents were absent, but those who came helped vigorously.
One new decision can be announced: A one-year suspension of an old rule: for this season a District Amateur may play in the District Amateur Masters more than once. This decision, taken by the Southwest Coast District Masters Committee will enable the Masters to have a sufficient number of ladies and men. This effort could be extended, if needed next season.
The several ten-day notices to be voted on March 17 at Sebring will be reported after that meeting.
