Report #7 by Glenna Earle in the UK, Norwich, England. Day 3.

Entire Group.

Above you will see the whole group who played the 1st 2 days.
Of this group only 2 people had an unblemished record.
David Earle and Sylvia smith played 10 perfect games with no losses.

Today we began the 2nd chapter of this wonderful Norwich Open.
Last evening each lady drew a letter from a bag of alphabetical letters. Then the men did the same. Each lady had to find the gentleman who had the corresponding letter to their own from their home country, or in our case, North America.
Throughout the remaining 10 games these same 2 people will be on opposite ends of the court from each other, although we play singles, so are not partners.

Play began in earnest today with a lot of competition going on and some seriously well-played games happening. Have a few pics of the players in the midst of their games. At the end of today you will see in the chart below how many games each country accumulated both in the ladies and men’s groups.
Tomorrow will complete the games and we shall then see the final tally.
A dinner is planned for tomorrow evening where recognition will be given to those who won the competition. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s results!!!!!  Glenna
