My heart hurts. Jim’s passing has left a void in shuffleboard that will be very hard to fill. Not only was he a magnificent player….he gave of himself and his time as few others have ever done. My prayers go out to his wife Jo and her entire family. Rest In Peace my friend.

JIM MILLER OUR BELOVED PRO SHUFFLER, passed thru God’s pearly gates to Gloryland on Sabbath Sunday–May 6, 2018. The sad news touched our shuffle family with heavy laden hearts. Jim excelled in our sport in every way possible, winning all levels of competition year after year in district, state, and national tournaments, dedicated his time to many park clubs “as a master court painter” keeping our courts in championship condition, gave countless work hours at tournaments. Our prayers of comfort go to wife Jo Miller, our faithful Tournament Director and his family. My friend, you will be forever missed.

A gentle giant in so many ways. Although we knew Jim for a short time, he has left an everlasting impression. The many awards he has received here on earth will now be surpassed by the greatest reward God has for him. Our prayers are with Jo and her family, and Jim’s shuffleboard family. Rest in Peace dear friend. ~ Marti and Dan Noble

We in the SWD all send our prayers etc. to Jo. Jim was one of the all time greats and he and Jo contributed so much to our district. I can see him joining his friends Paul Miller, Mel Erb and Chuck Stansburg, all great shufflers who left us early, for great matches up above.
