We will begin with a Wonderful Statement by Wilma’s Granddaughter, Amanda Miller: You will be sorely missed, Granny . I would say I hope you can rest easily, but I have a feeling there’s already a line of people waiting on waffles. So hold down the fort until we all eventually join you. (See below Amanda Miller Speaks: )

Shufflers in Woodbrook Estates
CHOOSE WILMA McLUNG!!
We do so not only because of her performance on the Courts, but more particularly because of her outstanding performance as Club President from 2008-2010.
Gary Pipher Speaks in 2011: Wilma left her home state of West Virginia some 14 years ago and came to Woodbrook > much to our delight. When Harry Parrott was forced to give up the office of President in 2008 due to health reasons, Wilma stepped up to the Court so to speak!! For two years she led by example, demonstrating her generosity of spirit a multitude of times in a variety of ways. Strawberry Shortcake Parties, Pancake Breakfasts in her home, Ice Cream Socials and even Pizza Parties; DVDs for Members as well as photographs, seamlessly arranged and warmly presented, became the hallmark of her Presidency. Wilma during her Presidency and to this day is our professional Pancake Breakfast Batter Maker!! Is it any wonder that activity on the courts prospers!
All Woodbrook Shufflers take great satisfaction, great pride, in recognizing Wilma’s contribution and welcome her to our Honor Role of Lifetime Members.
Gary Pipher. Woodbrook Shuffleboard President. 2011 03 19.
Amanda Miller Speaks: To-day (2018 05 17) the world lost one of the greatest people I have ever known. I am blessed to have been related to her, and to have known and learned from her my whole life. I hope that I have ended up with even half of her strength, her courage, her love, and her energy, and her ability to draw family together. And I hope that I can obtain a life as fulfilling as hers seemed to be for her. You will be sorely missed, Granny Wilma McClung. I would say I hope you can rest easily, but I have a feeling there’s already a line of people waiting on waffles. So hold down the fort until we all eventually join you.
Addy Dayton Said This: Today haven gained an angel. My heart is broken at the loss of such a wonderful woman. A woman who opened her home to us every thanksgiving, a woman who would rather spend her week cheering on strangers then competing her self, a woman who was a true representation of what sportsmanship was. We all love you so much Wilma and have been touched by the chance to have ever meet you. The Olympics won’t be the same without you….
