Alf and I operated The Shuffler Website from 2002 until 2010. Looking back one year since we shut it down in May of 2010, I can say without breaking my arm as we pat ourselves on the back; The Shuffler Was and remains, the Best Ever Shuffleboard Website!!
The Shuffler was the combined efforts of Stan McCormack and Alf Primeau. Alf took care of technical matters, Stan the operational aspects. We first met
playing in the FL Central District Masters as Amateurs, in Sebring FL in March of 2001. Max Tate had told me that Alf did stories on the computer.
While beating up on each other on the Courts during the 2001 Reiny Masters, Alf mentioned the website. My first thought was that he may be able to get help by seeing a doctor!! At that time I hardly knew what a website was?? Little did I know that I would become a part of that website, that I would get hooked, and that I would spend countless enjoyable hours sitting in front of a monitor and keyboard transferring ideas from my head to the screen!! The Shuffler operated for 8 years.
Above, we have Stan helping Alf with the Central District HOF Jacket, worn only by Members of the Hall of Fame. The Shuffler received the Special Award in 2007.
Alf is a Florida Pro > a Canadian Expert, a Shuffler who enthusiastically embraces the sport and enjoys his partners and opponents equally. He will have a great time on this his first International Event!!
