FSA MASTERS BEGINS MONDAY, 2019 04 01 08:30

2019 Shuffleboard “Masters” Press Release
The Florida Shuffleboard Association “Masters” will be showcased in Zephyrhills at the Betmar Shuffleboard Club Starting Monday the 1st of April. This Tournament is the FSAs most prestigious and features the States eight top point scores in a Men’s division and a Women’s division. The men’s division will be led by Zephyrhills own Earl Ball, a 1000 point Green Jacket “Master” & this season’s “Roll of Champions” Champion along with Erik Hahmann from the St Pete Club, a 33-year-old rookie and probably the youngest Man ever to qualify for the “Masters” and finish runner-up in the “Roll of Champions.
The women’s division is led by Pam Nurnberger from the Bradenton Club who is going for three “Masters” Championship in a row: she is the “Roll of Champions” Champion and Terri Smith, also from the Bradenton Club who won the last two “Masters” before Pam’s current run. Zephyrhills will feature Glenda Brake who finished runner-up in the “Roll of Champions.
The event will start with player pictures at 08:30 on Monday the 1st of April and players will be available to interview. The opening Ceremony will begin at 08:50 followed by the introduction of players by State Tournament Director, Glenn Monroe. The beginning of play will follow. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with two 3 game matches each day. The last match will be played on Thursday morning with the awards luncheon to follow at 12:30.
