Stan Leaves; Kerry, Erik, and Josh Take Over!

Stan it has been an honor to know you and your beloved Lois for the past 25 years. We have competed as partners as well as competitors in many nations. I for one know when it’s time to step back, enjoy the view and reminisce. We are all cogs in a great wheel. Until we meet again and we will here or in the afterlife.
Your eternal friend,
Michael Robert Zellner

Stan, you and Lois were instrumental in promoting shuffleboard all over the world. The many hours spent doing this passionate work for others to enjoy will never be forgotten. We are all replaced , as we give our positions to others to carry on, and this too will carry on, but they have big shoes to fill. Enjoy your family, your retirement, and we know you will stay in touch, as shuffleboard is part of you. We all wish you the best of health, and thanks for the memories. Maureen and Bill Bryan.

Stan, I was shocked when I learned of your retirement from TheShuffler! Both the Canadian and Ontario shuffleboard associations’ websites grew out of the original that you and Al Primeau had put together. YOU were my first introduction to the very existence of shuffleboard in Ontario and Canada. YOUR dedication, energy and broad coverage of shuffleboard people and events have had tremendous positive effect, which will continue though the new team at YOUR (it will always be “Stan’s TheShuffler”) website. I stand in admiration of all you have done.
I Hope to see you on the courts this summer,
Bill Boyes
