Dear Stan and Earl from ISA President Myrna Bilton.

We all had plans for 2020…… little did we know, that the world would be affected by a coronavirus and our plans would change.
I was looking forward to attending the 39th ISA World Championship in Coolangatta, Queensland, Australia. My first ISA tournament was in Australia in 2008. Stan & Lois McCormack were are captains. With their great team qualities and the warm hospitality of our Australian friends I knew 2020 was going to be another memorable tournament. This is where my husband Rendall and I got hooked on the International Shuffleboard Association.
This would of been my 13th ISA Tournament……each one has given me wonderful memories with renewing the many friendships I have made from around the world.
We have 9 countries in our ISA family….. Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, Norway, UK & USA.
The ISA has 41 years of history build on a solid foundation. The ISA countries always show kindness, patience, love, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude for the future years of shuffleboard. These last few weeks have sure proved to me that no matter where we live or what faith we are…….our hearts and feelings are all the same. I feel so blessed to have the ISA family with me on my “journey of life.”
Yes….2020 will be a year to remember……..
Covid-19 has changed our lifestyles and plans. But the virus cannot cancel or change……the people we love, the places we’ve seen and the memories we’ve made along the way.
Every day I experience KINDNESS, CONVERSATIONS, and HOPE from around the world…….THANK YOU.
Keep well, keep safe
Love with God’s Blessings
Myrna Bilton

Myrna you have been great support for the ISA. I’m sure Texas will lead the way for how future tournaments will need. to be played.
