And the Award Goes to Charles Griffin!! Posted Initially on 2012 12 10 and Re-posted 2020 06 02

Charles Griffin was State Delegate and Historian for the FSA for many years.  Charlie and wife Shirley collected a wide range of shuffleboard memorabilia which they later generously donated to the FSA Hall of Fame in Sebring.  A top player of the late 80s and 1990s, he qualified for 4 State Masters AND is in the FSA Hall of Fame.  Charlie has played all over the hemisphere.  New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio,     Ontario and even Las Vegas!!

His love for our sport is best demonstrated in his now-famous phrase: “Shuffleboard is not a matter of life and death – It is more important than that!”

We welcome back today a great friend of shuffleboard, Charles Griffin, and present him with a well-deserved “Most Valuable Person Pin”
