From the time Alfie picked up his first Cue I realized he had a sincere desire to become a competent shuffler.  No one could be more enthusiastic, more dedicated, or more determined to master the sport he had become excited about.  Not only was he a model student at Lessons; he and friend Don Bacon, also picking up the sport, returned to the Courts to apply that which they had learned!! 

There is so much good in the worst of us

and so much bad in the best of us

that it ill behooves any of us

to rail at the faults of the rest of us.
