“Shuffleboard Stupidity”

There are many “Things Shuffleboard”. I have a lot of material already written, and a lot to write.

The “Old Stuff” should be no problem; it is totally “How To …”.

The “New Stuff” can be a problem.

I have learned over the years that an attempt to insert a bit of humor into my writing lacks the voice inflection that identifies it as humor— consequently, often it is not perceived as “humor”.

In addition, I have learned that what can be misinterpreted, will be misinterpreted.

If I attempt a bit of humor, my intent is “lighten” the commentary, not to offend. I will try to be careful.

When I write that a “Play” is “Shuffleboard Stupid”, the statement is for emphasis, and that any player using that “Play” has not yet “grasped the concept” of “Winning Shuffleboard Play” — I do not intend to imply that the player is “Stupid”.

However, once we examine the “Play”, and the reasons why it is “Shuffleboard Stupid” — then, if you continue to use it — THAT … IS … “STUPID” (Hey! Hey! That’s a joke — sort of).

I understood “shuffleboard stupid” meant the play not the player.
