I would like to take this opportunity to share an amazing Shuffleboard experience. I have had the most wonderful experience that a new shuffler could ever imagine during the month of October this most challenging year. Earl Ball asked me, Dave Stoops, to partner with him for three tournaments at the start of this challenging season. I was absolutely thrilled at the opportunity and very curious why Earl would ask me to partner with him. After all, I have only been playing shuffleboard for less than two years. Today I finally figured it out. Earl loves the game and has a very strong belief that in order for the sport to survive we must all devote our efforts to recruit new players! I will forever remember the opportunity and be forever grateful to Earl! I would ask everyone reading this to consider offering a new player the opportunity to have a similar experience. We may all be surprised at the possibilities!

This is so true Dave. Tim Baker introduce me 2 yrs. ago and after a few months I went from playing to just get into the 7 and 8’s till I then began to learn the stragedy to the game and improved greatly because of Tim and getting to play in tjournaments throughout Indiana, Ohio. Plan to go to as many as possible this spring and summer. I practice 4 days a week at Tim’s courts. I have introduced and bring anywhere from 3 to 7 guys come once a week to play.
