My husband Richard and I moved
into Woodbrook Estates, #40,
in November of 1981. We were
introduced to Lakeland by my
parents who were avid lawn
bowlers. They are both
deceased. My husband and I
were married 49 1/2 years
before he died in February of

- We lived south of
Hamilton ON, in Binbrook.
We have 3 children of whom I
am very proud, and 5
grandchildren. I spent many
years in education, first as a
teacher then as an
administrator. I am so proud
to have 1 daughter and 2
granddaughters following in my
footsteps as teachers.
Over the years in Woodbrook I
have been active in the Tin
Lizzies, as Special Director
in charge of dances & all social activities, as cruise
coordinator, & organizer of Marathon Bridge.
I consider myself fortunate to have had so many wonderful years
here in Woodbrook and hope to have many more.
