RUESS & ARMSTRONG WING DISTRICT SHUFFLE CHAMPIONSHIP

Delane Ruess, Betmar, and Linda Armstrong of Lakeland won the Central District Pro Draw Championship at Winter Haven on Friday November18th.  It was a hard-fought tournament with Armstrong saving the day in the semis by scoring 25 points on her opponents hammer, late in the game, to give them the lead!!  Ruess then scored his 1^st kitchen of the tournament in the next frame, to put the game on ice.

In the final game of the tournament Ruess scored his 2^nd kitchen in the last frame to put the game and Championship out of reach and in their pocket.  It was Armstrong’s 1^st Championship in a Florida tournament and she danced a jig and sung a jingle; the crowd roared their approval.
