More on Try A Little Kindness.

Glenna Earle reacts to my last posting “Try A Little Kindness >

I know you have probably seen this before but just thought it was a fun follow-up to your posting of the lyrics to Try A Little Kindness.
I am so proud of Melanie Doane for doing this with her students and for Jann Arden taking the time to work with them. It meant so much to all of them to do it. Thanks for reminding me.
Melanie’s Dad, Chalmers Doane, is a very good friend of mine.  I played uke with him for many years. He was my music teacher the last 2 years of high school. The following year when I attended Teachers College in Truro Nova Scotia, he invited me to sing with a group called the 9-teens (all high school girls) which Chalmers formed. We used to practise at his home.  He taught me a great deal and I will ever be grateful for his interest in me. Glenna.

Hope you ENJOY. Stan
